Quarterly Parent Jobs
As a parent cooperative, the parents are essential to the smooth and
successful running of the program. There are five responsibilities
that each parent must agree to before enrolling their child in the
program.
- Accompany your child during the preschool program
- Sign up for one parent job that rotates quarterly, excluding elected positions
- Sign up for two parent duties (set-up, snack, clean-up) per month
- Attend one parent meeting per semester
- Participate in at least four hours of a fundraising event annually
Below you will find a list of QUARTERLY PARENT JOBS that will
rotate quarterly. If you have an idea that is not on the list please
tell me so we can discuss it. Some of these items require a lot of
time (like a board member) while others require very little (making
playdough). Some can be done at home (phone calling, art prep, etc.)
while others will be done during preschool hours. Each quarter some
of the jobs will change as program needs evolve. Hopefully everyone
can find a job that will suite their individual needs.
Please review the list below, and when you are in class next, sign up on the Quarterly Job Sheet that is on the check-in table.

Beyond these jobs, I would like to invite all of you to participaten in the program by being a "guest speaker" of some type. If you have a skill or talent, family or ethnic tradition, or anything that fits with the theme that you'd like to share please feel free to tell me so we can schedule a time. The more participation the better!!! As Director, I will be activily involved in all of the jobs and duties. Input is always welcome so let me know if you have comments or questions.
